The president said he hopes to net at least five House seats for Republicans after pressuring Texas officials to begin a controversial mid-decade gerrymander.
The only legal mechanism for holding power accountable is the vote. Once that’s taken away, you either accept subjugation or you don’t. But the latter isn’t legal and that doesn’t sit right with a lot of folks.
Isn’t there some kind of law against election interference? Isn’t there something that can be done about blatant lawbreakers?
Laws are a social contract and don’t mean shit unless enforced.

All that kinda went down the drain with “Russia, if you’re listening.” They’ve forced us to rely on the very voting mechanisms they seek to undermine.
